Fine, sterile single-use needles placed at carefully chosen points – tailored to your constitution and your individual concern.

Acupuncture is one of the central methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Fine, sterile single-use needles are placed at carefully selected points to support the flow of qi – the body’s vital energy – and encourage its natural balance.

Fine acupuncture needles placed in a person’s lower back

Every treatment begins with a personal consultation as well as pulse and tongue diagnosis. Based on this, I put together a combination of points suited to your constitution and your concern. Many patients find the treatment deeply relaxing, and the placing of the needles is usually barely noticeable.

In TCM, acupuncture is traditionally used as a complementary therapy – it does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.

Traditional application areas

  • Musculoskeletal complaints (e.g. back, neck, shoulder, knee)
  • Headaches and migraine
  • Sleep problems
  • Stress and exhaustion
  • Digestive complaints
  • Menstrual complaints and support through menopause

Variants

Ear acupuncture

Points on the outer ear are used to address the whole body – a gentle complement or alternative to body acupuncture.

Electroacupuncture

Placed needles are stimulated with mild, clearly perceptible impulses – often used for muscular tension.
